Course: Introduction to Short Sales

This session will detail what a short sale is and relate applicable laws to actual practice in Pennsylvania. At the conclusion of the course students will be able to identify the steps involved in a foreclosure as well as explain the short sale transaction process. Students will also be able to provide services to protect the seller client as well as the buyer client during short sale transactions. The Consumer Notice and requirements will be discussed along with ways to reduce risk during such transactions.

Oreintation sessions for New REALTOR® members:

REALTOR® Orientation covers the Bylaws of the local Association; the Bylaws of the State Association; and the Constitution, Bylaws and Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

MLS Orientation (attendance required only if applicant is to be affiliated with a Participant of MLS) covers the Rules and Regulations of the Association's MLS.

Applicants shall complete tow (2) half-day courses of instruction.

Applicants shall pass such reasonable and nondiscriminatory written protocol reveiws as may be required by Committee.

Applicants shall agree in writing that if elected to membership he/she will abide by such Constitution, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Code of Ethics.

2010 Professional Standards Training Registration

The 2010 training seminars will be held at 7 sites across the state from mid-March to mid-April. This year's seminars will focus primarily on arbitration procedures. Registration begins at 8:30. All sessions will start promptly at 9:00 am and end at 12:30. Lunch is not provided.
