Register and Get Out The Vote
PAR encourages REALTORS® to register to vote. If you are a first time voter, have recently moved or changed your name, you may need to register or re-register to vote. The deadline to register is Monday, Oct. 6. Along with casting a vote for president in the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 4, there are several local and state elections across the commonwealth. In the General Assembly, there are 27 open seats with 88 incumbent state lawmakers facing challengers. There are also races for attorney general, auditor general and state treasurer. It is important to back candidates who support private property rights and the real estate industry.

CRS 202 Course
Sales Strategies for the Residential Specialist will be presented by Chuck Bode on September 11-12, 2008 from 8:30AM-5:00PM at the PennStaterConferenceCenter in State College, PA. This course is sponsored by the Pennsylvania REALTORS® Institute and the Center County Association of REALTORS®. Registration is $299 in advance and $349 at the door. The course is approved for 14 hours of Continuing Education credits as well as 1 broker credit in Pennsylvania. It is also a required GRI course.
